Vegan Hot dog Recipe

Ingredients

Soy flour – 3/4 cup

Soya sauce – 1 tablespoon

Vital wheat gluten – 1 cup

Smoked paprika – 2 ½ teaspoon

Ground cumin – ½ teaspoon

Ground allspice – ½ teaspoon

Ground coriander – 1 teaspoon

White pepper – ¼ teaspoon

Nutritional yeast – ¼ cup

Garlic – 1 clove (chopped)

Onion – ¼ cup, pieces

Brown sugar – 2 teaspoons

Olive oil – 1 tablespoon

Ketchup – 1 ½ tablespoons

Water – ¾ cup and 2 tablespoons

Method

  • Process condiment, oil, ketchup, garlic, onion, and sugar in liquidizer till sleek. Slowly pour in water and mix till combined.
  • Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl.
  • Add condiment mixture to the protein mixture and stir with a picket spoon till combined and soft wet dough forms.
  • Divide dough into eight items and roll each bit into the 6-inch log.
  • Wrap every log tightly in aluminum foil (they can burst out whereas cookery if not wrapped tightly enough). Twist ends of foil to seal.

 

It’s steam for half hour.
